The Gore comprises two nineteenth century mansions in a tree-lined avenue just a stones throw from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Situated directly behind The Royal Albert Hall, it is only 10 minutes walk from Harrods and Knightsbridge and yet only 5 minutes from the West End and theatre district by either public transport or taxi. It boasts two award winning restaurants and a popular bar open to non- residents as well. The Gore manages to maintain that knack of being first and foremost an hostelry with an atmosphere that remains both unpretentious and friendly, whilst fulfilling the expectations of an international hotel.
